Wat pho is located next to grand palace which is the largest and also oldest temple in the Bangkok, where you can see 46m long and 15m height Buddha statue.
Culture and history:
Another interesting place to visit in Bangkok is a national museum which is located on Na Phra That Road. This Na Phra That Road is closer to Khal San, so you can easily reach the national museum from Khao San road by walking.
There is a national gallery located in Chao Phraya road which is straight opposite to the national museum, where you can see classical and contemporary Thai art and also paintings drawn by the king. And, you can also see royal barge museum on the same road. From all these places, you can able to know culture and history of Bangkok.
Shopping:
No vacations fulfilled without making shopping right!! There are so many options in Thailand to do shopping. If you have cash to spend, then you can choose modern shopping places like Siam Paragon or Central World and other malls are there to check such as Platinum mall, Pratunam, and Pahurat.
If you didn’t have that much money to spend, then no problem, there is one of the world’s biggest shopping markets named Chatuchak market, where you will get everything at a cheap rate.
